As the first hospice in Central Texas, Hospice Austin was established more than 30 years ago to ease the physical, emotional and spiritual pain of any person in our community facing the final months of a serious illness. Patients receive care in their own homes, at Hospice Austin’s Christopher House or in nursing facilities.
As a not-for-profit hospice, our resources are not used to benefit shareholders but instead go back into services to benefit our patients and their families. No one who needs our services is ever turned away because of complexity of disease, cost of care, or inability to pay.
